North East Scotland

Following a transparent, fair and robust procurement process, the Scottish Government awarded supplier GoFibre a £105 million contract to provide gigabit-capable broadband to thousands of hard-to-reach premises in the North East, including parts of Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire, Angus, Dundee, Highland, Moray and Perth and Kinross. The contract was announced on 15 July 2025.

GoFibre will now undertake a survey of the area to establish exactly which premises will benefit from contract build. Our address checker will then be updated to reflect this.

Once build to the premises is complete, residents and businesses will be able to benefit from faster speeds by ordering an appropriate service from an internet service provider (ISP).

Please note, this map reflects premises that are within the scope of this contract and they remain subject to change.
